Judging from your post I think you will be surprised at what a difference a new coach can and will make. So many things have snowballed that IMHO we have no idea how good these kids are and can be. I honestly believe this.

Yes, I'm not seeing much improvement, perhaps 6/7 SEC wins( and thank you SEC for having so many crap teams). This year of course they did as well.

I agree with what you're saying. I'll add that even though we stunk this year our offensive production has been really good considering the coaching. We will probly lose Blakeney but Sampson has great potential Simms is a fine offensive player Reath has very unique skills for a big man and Mays looks like he will be a very good point guard. If we get a good coach in here ppl are gonna be very surprised at what these guys are capable of. When Brady, who I don't consider a great coach, had this kind of offensive production he averaged over 25 wins and a sweet 16 birth. The cubbard is far from bare even with the departures to come.

I am sure that a new coach could win more games with the same players if he can get them to play hard on defense. But how you can coach players to hold on to the ball better or make them stronger is beyond coaching. Still I hope that we do get a new coach and that your right and that makes a big difference.
