The aim of the prosecutor would be to find and prosecute the leakers and conspirators. Not to investigate any Russian connections. The FBI is investigating that and so far we have ZERO evidence.
WE KNOW there are leaks that are illegal. WE KNOW there is a campaign and conspiracy to bring down the government.
WE DO NOT KNOW of any evidence of collusion between Trump and any Russians, because there wasn't any. There has to be a crime for there to be a prosecution.
