Dude, she was bringing Clark down to levels of pure suckage and depression and making the show worse.
The smallville relationship of Lana and Clark is like Oliver and Felicity on Arrow which completely destroyed season 4.
I may be shipping Superman and Wonder Woman but there's no question that Lois Lane improved the show when she took over the female lead and they actually made Lois' character work and Clark and Lois on smallville is and will always be the best live action portrayal of the relationship.
