re: Saints releasing Byrd

This is the kinda reason we haven't been to the playoffs since 2013 with a HOF QB. You cut a player, who unless you are retarded, know that Byrd was not a weak link. Yea he was overpaid but not a weakness in pass D. You cut him to save little and pay a lot. We lose another experienced player with decent play and don't hardly even save much. Spillers, Graham, Lofton, Evans, Byrd, K.Lewis (?), every year we do this. We should have kept him 1 more year. And yea, I understand we traded for Graham, still had the cap hit though.
