True, but he did sign with a team that already had a championship winning superstar with the assurance that another all star would join him in signing with that team. He announced that decision in an infamous way on a television special.

The whole joining a team with stars thing has always been a bogus criticism. Especially for Lebron. It's just another way to rationalize saying the old standard stars were better. The truth is that those legends who won a bunch of championships way back when were also on teams full of all stars. No player has ever done it on his own. Lebron just happened to be on a team in Cleveland that was failing to put players around him. They have been fixing that problem this go round. How it played out was a little obnoxious though. Durant's move was less obnoxious. At least he didn't do all the same press stuff. I'll still root for the Warriors to lose though.
Either way, you are an a-hole if you root for a player to get injured. You would be taking the spectator perspective of a game entirely too seriously.
