re: Anyone been on a helicopter that lost power and auto-rotated down?

I read a book written by a Huey pilot in Vietnam. He said during training their pilots would cut power on you and it was up to you to figure it out. He talked about having to quickly find a spot to land and looking out for power lines and shite like that. Stuff like that is probably why those guys were so damn good by the time they shipped over to 'Nam.
