I would say probably closer to 7 or 8 years. I have been married coming up on 20 years.
My experience for the most part is if you can get through those early years and the first couple tests, you are ok unless someone cheats.
my parents got divorced after 22 years of marriage, although my father was a serial philander it didn't bother my mother that much.

just had a good friend of mine say him and his lady are getting divorced. they got married a month after i did. it's pretty shocking, but i guess reading this thread it shouldn't be surprising
