Kind of. This is a case of regulations not keeping up with social constructs. The loop hole allowing banned substances was designed for kids with growth restriction and hormone deficiencies. Not for children with normal hormones and psychological disease attempteng to override their normally functioning hormones.

Any teenager that is transitioning shouldn't be allowed to compete period. Just my opinion although I'm sure everyone will disagree.
They need a psychiatrist, a psychologist to assist them. Their mental health needs to be focused on not sports.

Fair enough. But the "birth certificate" based participation was passed in August so failure to consider the ramifications at that time STILL falls on UIL.
