not trying to start a "flame religion" thing here, but isn't that the essence of the christian doctrine? ... just ask forgiveness? ... repent and you shall be healed? ... cheat on your wife, commit fraud or steal, say/think/do something completely antiethical to jesus, but that ace up your sleeve saves you?

and i think pedophiles cannot be rehabbed and at a minimum should get life in prison ... execution in many instances ...
