Looking at the updated stats, the team batting average is now. 401
Of course I expect that to drop a little after facing UCLA and Utah tonight, but still, to be that good after 13 games is pretty impressive

It's actually unbelievable how well this team is swinging it. Landry and Jaquish are just flat out great hitters. Griggs has been superb. The real mystery or surprise is how incredible Doyle and Springfield have been. They are extra base hitting machines and no one could have envisioned them starting off this well. Serrett started off slow but has really hammered it the last few games and Quinn had one of the best days of her career last outing with 3 extra base hits. I remember watching Sanchez in travel ball and she was always a very good hitter.
If we can keep up the defensive play and of course our ridiculously superior pitching this team will be tough to deal with. If you think the BA is good check out Smith, Wali and Hoover's ERA.
A couple of players have looked good in LF so once that is ironed out and players can get comfortable with a role and knowing it is their position the sky is the limit. Things are only going to get better from here.
