How does a casual Nascar watcher follow the season more thoroughly and or get involved?
I watched a lot when St Louis had a good representation back in the day because it was cool to see hometown people have success. Followed the Wallace brothers and Ken Shrader back in the day and loosely follow Carl Edwards now because of his Missouri ties.

Download the NASCAR app or like them on Facebook. Great way to keep up.

Do you follow multiple drivers? Certain teams? I appreciate the competition of a NASCAR race on any given day but my question was more on how you stay engaged and follow over the course of a season at the personal level.

I follow the 18 and 41 for the most part. I guess I'm attuned to Stewart Haas and JGR

I'm not sure how to answer your question but most of them have twitter accounts.
Other than that I think FS1/NBCSports have a 30 minute NASCAR show on each night to recap the days events and of course televise all the practices/qualifying
The NASCAR channel on Sirius has a lot of good shows and intelligent ppl IMO but you gotta be in a vehicle a lot for that......
Also jayski.com (now owned by ESPN) is a GREAT site to keep up with news and info though they just changed the layout and I'm not sure how I feel about it. I'm sure I'll come around though

MRN isn't a bad place to check out NASCAR, as well.

And hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if you follow Carl Edwards just know that he retired...so there's that.
Jayski is a good follow, they have plenty of news and rumors.

ESPN killed Jayski.

When did espn aquire Jayski?

Jayski was always with ESPN but I think they're now the official ESPN NASCAR page. I liked the old page much better. Easier to navigate.

I never really paid attention. I just used the line up they provided to print out for our race pool a couple of years ago.

This truck race is a shite show. Some of these guys couldn't drive a bicycle.

frick these stages. C Bell taken out for the sake of fake drama.

They've been trying to for a long time but this new page design might finally do it
Also, I'm watching on DVR so I'm way behind but it's a damn shame all those cars got taken out on the second lap of truck race. Lots of young guys who will learn very little

I enjoyed Crafton's flip, one of the best flips in a while. Would have been cool if he had landed pointing straight ahead and kept on going.
