I was John in a very similar incident.

They had W. Metairie down to a lane before David, and I took both lanes to stop the cars from cutting the line to the left and then cutting back in. I didn't even start blocking until two light cycles passed and I barely moved because of all the "Bob's".

I then had two different people call my company and make totally false claims about my driving. (exactly two small cars got by me) then one guy passed me on the canal bank and threw a drink at my car.

Me and my helper just laughed. By this point more people joined team John and I was ready to get back in line.

I do the same thing when interstate merges end and I see people try and drive the shoulder. I squeeze the shoulder. Those assholes DO NOT realize they are causing the very traffic the are trying to flee by their driving.
