but Bryce Adams had a good game....he drilled an opposite field HR and later had a double. Breaux also launched a HR and they hit the ball hard, even most of the outs were hit well. I like the potential of this offense.
Can we talk about this now? Because I love seeing these two succeeding.

How did Doug Thompson do with the play by play on radio? I heard him over the weekend and it was subpar, to say the least. Was he better last night?
I heard him for the first inning or so... He was just as bad.

I am glad Adams patiently waited his turn after not getting much chance last year....there just wasn't room for him. He is probably going to strike out more than others, but he has the potential to mash one every time he comes up...and I think you need at least a couple of those guys in the lineup. And the ball Breaux hit...damn...I seriously doubt he can hit one further than that.

And why is LSU trying to turn Thompson into a play-by-play guy? I know Hanny is out of the mix....but Wright was probably available last night...why not let a true pbp guy fill in for Blair when there is a conflict?
