I went to it. I've seen Sting a few times early in his solo career--late 80's/90's. This was a much more stripped down version of Sting, more "Police-like".
Two guitars, him on bass, a drummer, and background vocals. Did a lot of old police stuff, and some acoustic stuff.
Gave his son way too much time (three songs opening before the real opener, Last Bandoleros, who were very good--reminded me of the Bodeans).
All-in-all a great concert. Here's the setlist:
Acoustic Warm Up before opening acts
Sting: Heading South on the Great North Road
Joe Sumner's Set
Don't Change the Love
Drink
Jelly Bean
The Last Bandoleros' Set
Maria
River Man
Take Me To It
I Don't Want To Know
Where Do You Go?
Main Set after opening acts
Synchronicity II
Spirits in the Material World
She's Too Good for Me
Englishman in New York
I Can't Stop Thinking About You
One Fine Day
I'm So Happy I Can't Stop Crying
(Reggae Version)
Down, Down, Down
Petrol Head
Shape of My Heart
Pretty Young Soldier
Message in a Bottle
Ashes To Ashes
(David Bowie cover) (performed by Joe Sumner)
50,000
Walking on the Moon
So Lonely
Desert Rose
Roxanne / Ain't No Sunshine
Encore:
Next to You
Every Breath You Take
Encore 2:
The Empty Chair (song he's nominated for an Oscar for this year--he'll perform it at the Academy Awards)

Saw show last night in NOLA - exceptional.
Will download the Last Bandoleros album right away - very very good opening act and cool that Sting performed with them - back-up vocal no less - and they were Sting's back-up vocals.
