first attempt at Korean BBQ
Bibigo sauce
Country style Beef ribs marinated for 1hr under vacuum in mason jar.
Result was better than expected.

Have you had Korean bulgogi before? How does it compare?

Man, Baton Rouge needs to import some Koreans. I love pickled things and grilled meats. That's one cuisine we don't have that I could DEFINITELY get behind.

Yes, it's was really close to bulgogi I've had here in Houston. I'll be trying it some more

The funny thing is there are plenty of Koreans here but the perception in the community is that the business is not sustainable. A city like New Orleans can barely keep theirs running and they are a pretty progressive city. Simply put: most BR residents wouldn't try it. They prefer their Asian flare of cream cheese in sushi rolls.
