Duke do you realize the younger kids today are working more hours, making less money and have a higher degree of education than generations passed yet they still cannot afford the things we could despite their increase in effort You wouldn't know what to do if we pulled your head out of your arse
Perhaps the worst thing ever told young people was that to be truly successful in life you have to go to college. Fact is, there are simply way too many people graduating with degrees and accumulating insurmountable debt that really should have gotten a trade and been much more successful and happy in life, as well as more financially secure without all that debt around their damn necks.
That's of course not for everyone, but for more than most I'd say it is.

Yep. And what's worse is the amount of blatant political indoctrinationgoing on in colleges now. These kids think they're getting an education but really what they're getting is turned into progressive drones reasoned to toe the progressive line.
If Gobbels could be brought back from the dead and see just how political our colleges have become, even he'd be amazed at the completeness of political indoctrination achieved by what use to be our education system.

To be fair, a lot of jobs require some kind of college degree. Even if they majored in something completely unrelated, finding a career path without some sort of undergrad degree could be exceedingly difficult.
