I recently thought I was going to have to get a CPAP, but went to the ENT and they said my tonsil were the biggest they have ever seen, so instead I got a tonsillectomy. The surgery and recovery sucked!!! But I don't have to be a sleeping Darth Vader for the rest of my life.... So I got that going for me

Maybe...I've seen the surgery do zip to fix apnea. The success rate is paltry at best.

Mine need to come out too plus i have a deviated nasal septum. ENT said he could possibly fix most of my apnea with surgery but told me to try the cpap first since the recovery would suck.
