Given Trump's generally erratic behavior and spur of the moment comments (such as when he lied about the NFL sending him a letter dealing with the timing of the debate on Monday night and when he told Chris Matthews that he thought there should be some form of punishment for women who have abortions), I can totally believe Trump asked the question about using nuclear weapons. I'm no big fan of Scarborough, but I think he has good sources and wouldn't just make up something like that.

The question about abortion was based on if abortion was illegal and a woman had an abortion - would she be punished.

Key word - ILLEGAL. I hope and pray that anyone that does anything that is against the law would be held accountable for their lawlessness. Breaking the law has consequences. So, of course trump is going to answer the question the way he did. If you break the law you get punished. I don't understand how the right and the left see the same interview and have different perceptions.
