The barrel actually measures just shy of 23". It's marked "skeet", but since the threading the new choke is something around extra full or turkey choke. I've tried all the popular brands of tubes in it. Looks like the machinist made a custom choke to fit his threads. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconbanghead.gif)

Have you tried Rem-Chokes? Not sure they still make them, but I have a 70's era 1100 that was modified this way. I have the three basic chokes tubes. It works well. It started off as a 28" modified. I would go with a 28" barrel.
