And yet they upped the budget on Justice League and greenlighted two more DCEU films in the movie's aftermath. If there was disappointment in Dawn of Justice's BO returns, they sure as hell aren't showing it.
Yeah, but what movies did they cut to do that? I would be willing to bet the movies they cut would have been better than Justice League would be.
It's the last hurrah, and they have a losing hand, so they're going all in in hopes of it actually working, when really they should have left the table and started from scratch.

Are you referring to X-Men and Spider-Man? Because that's exactly what the MCU movies are. Pure, formulaic, popcorn entertainment.
But the MCU is incredibly elaborate and structured. I don't think Spider-Man and X-Men had a concrete plan for even a sequel, nevertheless 10 films down the road.

Not true. They're going to continue making these movies. So that's a plus. Sooner or later they'll get it right.
This is like saying a drunk driver will sooner or later start driving straight. No he won't. This is a dumpster fire, and we need to take the drivers out of the front seat and arrest them. We need people of competence, which has seemingly been no one, and anyone of competence is being scared off.
