To a degree. A real job and two small kids remedied that though.

The episode stemmed from a irrational incident where I convinced myself I had a brain eating amoeba and was going to die imminently that for some reason I couldn't shake long after I knew that wasn't true. Otherwise it was during the summer, I am a teacher, and had zero stress.

Given what you've shared here, Cymbalta seems a like really odd prescription, especially as a first line of treatment. I cannot stress how important it is to get a good medical workup if you haven't had one and to see a psychiatrist before discontinuing the cymbalta.
