If an insurance company has the choice of 1) paying a fair compensation OR, 2) paying a fair compensation PLUS a portion of the other party's legal fees, which would they prefer?
Are you a lawyer? If so, that would explain many of your political leanings.

I'm a lawyer and I've dealt with insurance companies for 16 years. How many years do you have dealing with them? werent you a banker?
Here is what you dont get, both sides of the bar, plaintiff and defense are oppossed to loser pays, it is not going to happen.

What is stopping an insurance company from making fair settlement offers now in an effort to avoid a lawyer getting involved?
