You can be glad he's gone and still be leery of the motives and means behind the leak of the information leading to his departure. People were up in arms that Trump could possibly be blackmailed by Russians, yet here we have a National Security adviser essentially blackmailed and forced out by American spooks.

You can also be leery of motives and process, and still not rush to cry foul about an effort to torpedo somebody who probably needed to go.
