Not really. Trump is behaving badly, but it's not his job to be nice to the press. It might be a bad strategy to constantly berate them, but at the end of the day he will be judged on his performance.
On the other hand, it IS a core part of the media's job to cover news objectively. If they aren't sifting through the nonsense to bring us what is truly important, then what good are they????

it is also not Trump's job to form this narrative that only his words or certain news outlets are true

unfortunately, the days of objective news is all but gone
objectiveness is boring, it doesn't make money
