I live in suburbia and did drive an f350 king ranch but I do own property and my trucks while comfortable work and work hard. I put 200k miles on it before it blew and now have a 2500 GMC that I have put 180k on and while clean it works its arse off too. Has plenty of dings and cracked windshield and if you look in the bed it is spray lined with a rubber mat that is beat to shite. At this moment in my garage it has a floor jack, few pieces of 6x6 lumber, flat front tractor tire, grease gun, fishing rod, small non yeti ice chest and probably 30lbs of 6/10 limestone road base spread all around.
When I get done with this one I'll probably go back to a king ranch and might even go to the 150 just for a bit of a smoother ride that as I get older appreciate more and my last three feel like riding in concrete trucks.
But the 4 wheel drive gets used and they tow tons of shite from boats, tractors and large heavy industrial equipment.
The best thing about my trucks is my daughter can drive them, tow whatever is behind them (including backing a boat trailer down a launch) and knows when to put in 4 wheel drive and how too. I'm more proud of that than any truck.
But if you want one to just drive to the beauty parlor so be it. None of my business.
