The 84 piece shows a little girl (and her mother) risking her life to come to this country and even patching together a tiny American flag out of debris she finds along the way, and the first thing that comes to the minds of countless dipshits here is "ILLEGAL!" It, along with the very idea of Making America Great Again, shows contempt for this country and its neighbors.

Actually the first thing that came to mind was the lord of the rings
Regardless, if the message is confusing or unclear then it's a marketing failure. Pretty obvious what they meant though, and most people saw it the same way until they walked it back with that perplexing explanation

As opposed to showing them marching up the steps to get official paperwork, and then opening up an envelope with an acceptance letter, and then waving the home made flag while crying mas they walk across a legal point of entry into the US, amirite??
Yeah, I think the ad screams, "ILLEGAL" is OK
