The industry is doing fine in New Orleans with at least six major TV series and one large feature (a $60m fox movie called underwater). It's an arms race to find good crew and every local crafts person should be employed. That said the days of multiple tent poles shooting at once are likely done because of the cap on actors salaries that is part of the new legislation. But overall the 180million dollar program will lure more and more production back after a rocky and uncertain period
