Any chance of getting Powell as just the ST coach and hire another RB coach?

My guess or preference would be.

Andre Powell - ST.
Tommie Robinson - RB, RC
David Johnson - Wr.

I think that you want at least 2 out of the 3 to have a proven P5 track record and only 1 new up and coming type like David Johnson or Tony Hull.

I just don't know how many slots we have left at this point.

When Cameron was let go, he was the OC/QB. Canada has that spot now. That's a wash.

If Ensminger stays a coach, and does not move to admin for 2017 - then he will be the TE or QB/TE coach (or some combination) and does not have background as a special teams coach. If Ensminger transitions to admin, either the receivers, RB and/or ST Coordinator will have TE responsibilities, too.

In that latter case, there are effectively only 2 offensive coaches right now - Canada and Grimes. There is also no ST coordinator, unless April is going to get that job. I'm pretty sure he stays a consultant - now they think a lot of Dennis Johnson (Meatball) and maybe he gets that tag for the coaching spot and bump in pay, with April as his mentor/subject matter expert.

Johnson has coached ST, WRs, TEs AND RBs. Powell is the current special teams coordinator and RB coach for Pitt.

Might be as simple as that - Johnson WRs and TEs - Powell RBs and STC.

And Austin Thomas as permanent RC?

I love this plan - I'm excited to be part of it. Let's do it.
