High n dry and pyromania were very good, everything else sucks. Hysteria is horrible and Pour Some Sugar On Me is one of the worst rock songs ever.
ETA: the OP was "well known" bands. I took that to mean the worst of the good bands. So DL is good.

There might have been some cheesy lyrics (like Pour Some Sugar On Me), but that album was full of catchy/melodic songs. Definitely not horrible. Horrible is shitty or no melodies and terrible lyrics. That album didn't get to that rare diamond status in sales for having nothing good about it. It was just more pop-oriented than the previous albums.
