Every year I punch holes around all my fruit and nut trees and put a lb of 13-13-13 in each hole now there are lil dark green circles around the trees

Should be ok as long as it drains well. If it stays soaked, then you might have a problem. But it ain't a bad idea to add some just in case. I'm gonna go throw out some bone meal when I get home.
