It's an area I'm very familiar with. Who should be in charge of educating any student? Optimally, parents first, then teachers, and other resources.

Presuming you're referring to school choice, choice is choice.

We were in a position to send our kids anywhere. We used a combination of private and public resources in way that maximally advantaged them, and advanced their education.

Without vouchers/choice/supplement/scholarship, the vast majority of parents could not afford to do for their kids what we did for ours. If we can change that with school choice, we should do it.
