I think he will go to Bama but I don't think he is trying to get attention like others. It seems like it is a hard decision to make for him, it's a lot of pressure for a 17/18 year old. I am so tired of Bama taking all the LA recruits. I'm ready for it to start turning around. I thought we had finally turned the corner with Fournette and that class. It didn't happen. I'm hoping LSU will become a program LA kids can take more seriously, and be proud to stay home!!!
LSU signed 9 of the top 10 players in Louisiana last year, FYI. Only lost Shyheim to Bama

The talent in state this year is very weak. They didn't go after some of these guys as hard as they should have, Mathis included

So is Mathis still a gump or a tiger? Seems like it is changing constantly.

Exactly, this hasn't been stressed enough. People need a little more perspective on this. Think about some of the top targets we got from other states.

Changing his time to 4:20. Definitely gonna be a gump.

So one of our DT commits from the state of Alabama is expected to flip to FSU tomorrow and one of our big DT targets from the state of Louisiana is expected to go to Alabama?
Checks out.

If Marvin commits to LSU like most think, we have arguably the top two DTs in the entire class. Sorry to burst your doom and gloom.

Please don't give them positivity. Their "sky is falling, we're doomed" drama fits really do provide entertainment for me all day during NSD week

So is Shelvin qualifying or not?

Don't get me wrong, I understand we're supposedly in a good place with Wilson. It's just a bit disappointing that we're going to lose a DT commitment and possibly lose an in-state DT to the evil empire.

Oh STFU. I don't believe the sky is falling. I'm an LSU fan who wants what is best for LSU. I'm sorry if I'm tired of seeing top flight Louisiana talent going to our biggest rivals every fricking year. Some of these guys would rather leave the state to go sit behind a collection of top-rated guys for 3-4 years at our rival. That's how little they respect or care for the P&G like we do.

How do you feel about Marvin wilson leaving Texas and leaving behind A&M to play for their rival
Posted on 1/31/17 at 1:03 pm to VermilionTiger
How dare you ask such a reasonable question.

Not everyone grows up an LSU fan. Most of these recruits don't have LSU fans for parents. They aren't LSU alums.
Whats the difference in distance from Monroe? Baton Rouge 3.5 hours and Tuscaloosa 4.5?
And last year we cleaned house in-state. This has actually been the worst year so far and we went through a coaching change and our state talent is weakest its been in years.

We just go a cb for Mathis I don't know what to think

If its from the TCU guy, don't put much stock in either way. He is probably not all that close to the situation and is trying to get points for picking the home team.

Question about Crystal Balls...do they have to place a certain amount of them?
Or could they only place them when they know of sure things so their batting average is perfect?

No limit or floor on number of CBs.
Can switch them at anytime.
Cant CB a player to a school in which they are currently committed.
Get more points the earlier they call it.
Thats about it as far as rules go.
