Weekend recap

Tried to create a one stop shop for what I've seen/read this weekend. Feel free to correct or add any other info.
Mathis - another visit from O, his main Bama recruiter leaves for AZ St, trending heavier to LSU
M. Wilson - recent CBs to FSU, Aranda, Thomas and Dennis Johnson go in home (50/50) at this point with FSU
Farrell - may flip to FSU (looks like dependent on Big Marv's decision)
Amik Robertson - CBs coming in for LA Tech (probably lost in numbers game)
Todd Harris - Likely all LSU and bumps Amik's spot
Chaisson - Trending Texas (still loves LSU so who knows)
Justin Harris - Was LSU DE 3rd choice but looks all Baylor now
Bryant - Really likes LSU, Chaisson and Harris out makes him likely pick-up (least amount of indications of any recruit, but other trends make him a LSU possibility)
Taylor - CBs pouring in for LSU (10 in last 24 hrs). Predictors must know something
Gay - Has gone quiet, but picking up more LSU steam again so he may join the triplets at LSU after all (Phillips, Queen, Gay).
Devonta Smith - Bama WR coach and recruiter gone. LSU Curtis Johnson hire, Rumor Bama out. Miami vs LSU choice. Looking good for LSU at this point.

Smith cancelled his visit to Miami. It's bama vs LSU. I'd put Marvin 80 percent LSU.

I don't claim to know anything on the "inside", but I agree with the OP's assessment of the current situation from my reading.

The last 2 CBs were to LSU after he started trending to MSU. The rumor of a chance to play some RB; although I seriously doubt it. It may indicate a push to really convince him to come to LSU though. Lastly his relationship with Queen and Phillips.
I still find it highly unlikely especially since Taylor is looking solid. It just offers a little more possibility than 2 days ago.

Based off of 247 crystal ball picks, Ellis Brooks is going to Penn State. I haven't heard or read anything concrete but I would assume he's out due to Phillips flipping, Taylor leaning heavy LSU, Gay being 50/50, and Brooks being from up north (Maryland). Penn State just makes sense for him IMO. But who knows, if Gay goes to MSSU Ellis might come down.
