If anyone would have to agree to grayshirt for Amik to get in, it would be Amik.
Nonetheless, the only way I see Amik getting in is if we miss on too many players.
I don't know about you, but I definitely would prefer to take another edge rusher, linebacker, or defensive tackle before I'd take Amik, especially with the kind of talent that will be available in 2018.
I mean we already have Jontre Kirklin, JaCoby Stevens, Kary Vincent Jr., Grant Delpit. Hence, we already have enough defensive backs.
Not to mention, that if he came to LSU, considering his size and weight, he'll probably end up being a special teams player.

He would play nickleback. His skill set is different than we have

No one is taking a greyshirt. Who was the last recruit to agree to that? It shouldn't even be brought up any more
