I'll say this about Seinfeld. It doesn't hold up for me. I recently watched a bunch of episodes on TBS and even some of the all-time great episodes were just kind of meh. I'm older now so that could have something do with it I guess.

That is usually the opposite of what most people say.
Its timeless comedy to me and gets better with age.

Theyre really not nearly as funny as people remember. Kramer is goofy but not funny. I still like some of the Jerry-Elaine conversations. Those were always my favorite.

That has has not been my experience at all. In fact, I think one of man's greatest recent achievements has been the remastering of Seinfeld to widescreen.

A lot of sitcoms seem to get stuck in their own time and place and reflect certain jokes of the day.
Seinfeld doesn't seem to get old because they all seem to exist in this weird bubble - Seinfeld universe.
That said...what does come across with Seinfeld the more you watch it and the older you get is how insanely shallow and childish everyone is and really going nowhere with their lives...and talking and arguing about petty stuff can get tiresome the older you get.
