We got ESPN when I was in grade school and ESPN wasn't yet on 24 hours a day. I've seen it grow during my lifetime and I think it peaked about ten years ago. ESPN in the beginning hardly showed live events and the sports were men's fast-pitch softball, PKA full contact karate, sprint car racing, reruns of Home run derby, Australian rules football, boxing, tape delayed college football games, and was just starting college basketball live.

I actually wish they'd go back to some of those sports during the days. I can't really take the hour after hour of sportscaster and those talk shows. Keep live sports at night but during the day show us sporting events. With the time difference you can show us some live sports from Europe or Asia or more non big four (baseball, football, basketball, and hockey) during the day even if of on tape.
