This election and the last mid term should have answered your question.
Things change.
Freeing the slaves were going to ruin the country....
The Isish and Italian immigrants were going to ruin the country...
The flood of Bosnian immigrants into St Louis were going to ruin our city...
Its religious...it has always been about religion and it always will. Start the fight there but the racial stuff is nonsense.
An agnostic middle eastern scientist has as much value to this country as an agnostic white scientist.

How are you defining value?
Differently than I am, certainly. A middle eastern man here or there and nothing changes. A concentration or plurality of middle eastern men and everything changes. People shape societies. The societies people are immigrating to to were all shaped by Europeans. They are better places to live, for now.
