Well, I guess the wise and righteous M Piper would throw the adulterous and murderous King David under the bus too. There is a helluva difference in the skill and character sets needed to be a Pastor, and that of POTUS...in today's world. Religious Grandstander, most likely. Trump is low hanging fruit for Preachers who want attention. He'll get his attention.

David sought repetance. Trump has not.

He ain't dead yet either.

There was a period of time between sins and repentance for old King David.

Actually he did. But that's a personal matter, and not for public consumption

Well, as I understood Trump, he thinks that what he DOES is more important in the real World...than what he SAYS. He don't believe in asking for forgiveness...but in earning it. Philosophically problematic, I know. But we didn't elect Trump to be our Spiritual Leader...we elected him to PROTECT our Churches and Pastors and Atheists alike. From enemies within and without.

Trump can sort his repentance (by traditional, dogmatic public profession) out with the Good Lord in the hereafter as far as I'm concerned. As long as he does the job we elected him to do (secure our God-given Liberty), he's got my support.
