I think he's a genuine human being who truly means well and is a decent and good man.

His view of the world as a quasi-socialist liberal minded American is completely opposite from mine. However, he seems to have raised his children as good people.

I have a feeling if I spent a few hours with him over some beers, I'd come away liking him very much despite philosophical differences.
