Same thing they get with promoting an idealist/impractical economic Ideology. Personal satisfaction in regard to doing the right (moral) thing, regardless. That is all there is in Belief; at least for now. Maybe the Parallel Universe thing will work out, and individuals will get the Universe they believe in hope for.

Yep. It's a cheap high of accomplishment for a lot of people. It's all about justifying anger until the next thing to be pissed about comes along.
