I cook a red sauce pretty often, then make either chicken or veal parm or spaghetti with Italian sausage.
We also do a lot of grilled protein plus vegetable, pork chops and green beans, chicken and broccoli, etc...
Sometimes we chop up different vegetables (onions, peppers, potatoes, etc...) and smoked sausage, then put it all in an aluminum foil pocket and throw it in the oven.
ETA: forgot about rice and gravy, we do that with either pork chops or cheap beef fairly often.
