I mean, I get that viewers "hate" her because she's the nagging wife trying to keep their "hero" from doing cool shite but how in the sweet blue frick is a woman in her situations supposed to act?

If I had a teenager with CP, got pregnant at 40-something, and had a husband with inoperable cancer, chances are I'm going to be just a tad bitchy.

And then I find out all the horrible shite my husband has done and has put me and my kids in danger???? Yeah - totally going to get my bitch on.

If BB were a true story this site would be full of posts calling WW a "TPOS" and "Where was the wife in all this??? Why didn't she turn her husband in???".

I wish people who hate Skylar would just own that they hate her because she got in Walt's way of being a badass instead of pretending they hate her for being a naggy wet blanket.

Nope. You're absolutely wrong. She was nagging and overbearing before Walt even got the news about the cancer. She had turned him into an absolute husk of a man, as evidenced by the flashbacks we see of him before he met her. Let's not forget she was clearly angling to get Ted's dick before she even figured out what Walt was up to. Her character would actually be exponentially more awful if Walt never broke into the drug biz and the show was just a domestic drama.

What pissed me off right away about Skyler is that Walt asks if she would turn him in if he did something illegal very early on and she said yes. Of course he isn't going to come clean after hearing that. Then she proceeds to put herself and her family on the line to protect her boy toy embezzler instead of turning him in. She's a hypocrite.

Skylar's bitchy, but she sure seems to move the goalposts alot too. She didn't seem any less difficult when Walt still actually had some integrity, and she sure seemed OK with the money coming in as long as she thought her own arse wasn't liable. "Oh, I can get in trouble for this? Well, NOW it's a problem, then!"

That said, of course we're gonna think she's a bitch. If the story was from her POV instead, then I'm sure we'd be piling on someone else. That's just TV for you, lol...
