We are what, around 20 trillion in debt. How much are the welfare leeches and illegal immigrants costing the taxpayers ? If we stop this nonsense how much would it help ?

They cost us far less than the wars, surveillance and military budget.

Stop creating money as debt and the debt spiral will slow.
It's not very complicated, but it's one thing that most people are totally clueless about.
Currency can and was intended to be created as currency, nothing more. But we've been tricked into a system that creates currency as debt.

You lost me. Explain so a dumbass like me can understand. I thought that the 20 trillion was money that we borrowed from china.

We need the military and surveillance, we don't need illegals and generational welfare families.

Read up on the Federal Reserve and fractional reserve banking practices. Also read about fiat currency and the Bretton Woods Agreement.

And government phones. Seems like everyone of them has a government phone with 50 free minutes lol .

If you think we need to spend as much as the next 42 countries combined on military and surveillance don't bother calling yourself a fiscal conservative. There is more waste and bloat in the military/defense budget than anywhere else.

Many have smart phones now. Bet it's unlimited data too.

I believe Trump will stop all the waste in the defense department.

The US, at all levels of gov't, spend about $1 trillion a year in welfare--Medicaid and other programs like food stamps. Illegal immigration gets lumped into this a bit, as some illegal immigrants will use those programs.
IMO, debt isn't an issue as long as the gov't can continue to sell treasuries and remains the safest investment in the world. The issues are: wasteful spending that doesn't lead to any productive capabilities/economic growth and losing the safe haven.

Laughing at people who direct all energies about wasteful spending at the bottom of society.
The banks, corporations, gov't contractors ect get so damn much.

And the military spending is basically a government jobs program. Very difficult to significantly cut military expenditures without putting a whole bunch of people out of work. It's also extremely politically unpopular. However, in my opinion, it's a dirty deed that needs to get done.

dims always gut the military. There's plenty to be cut in D.C. without gutting the military.

Most of the debt that was accrued under Obama came from the Stimulas money that was never removed from the budget. That combined with the automatic budget increases have that money compounding annually at 5-6% and currently accounts for almost 1 trillion of the budget a year.
I have no idea where they money is currently being spent...

Plenty of money was wasted by the dear leader. He doubled the debt in 8 years.
You know what he wasted it on, I'm not going to list all them for you.
