He signed with Western Kentucky, but then tried to get out of commitment. I understand WKU would have to release him, any news ?

If he is I don't think he want to be coach by Johnny Jones but just my guess

There's no way he's coming here if he's seen any of our games this year. The players have given up and the situation will soon be toxic if not already.

Signing these type of guys is the only thing that might save Jones....although he squandered Simmons.

hire Stansbury and we'll see...
but we have 7 losses already with a roster of him and 10 other seniors. he needs to lead us to district and state titles to match the hype he's gotten

bump
Mitch got named McDonald's All-American last night, the first from NOLA since Greg Monroe in 2008 and the first ever from Chalmette High and St. Bernard Parish

The state of LSU basketball has allowed a kid from Nola to go to Bowling Green, KY for college over LSU

Plus you can't "get out" of the commitment. The school could block and will block his top choices even if he tried to, on the basis that there is pretty much a 100% chance there was illegal contact.
Stansbury couldn't do that and then leave?
