Naw. There's lot of shite I can learn on YouTube and "save money." But once you calculate the cost of the time you spend trying to learn it, the supplies, and the waste from the inevitable frick up, you'd get hired. For me, if it is a novel home issue, I do YouTube it, watch a few videos, then calculate the pain in the arse number. Within a few minutes I've made the decision one way or the other to hire a pro or not.

The more disposable income I make, the more likely I hire a pro so I can just sit around telling myself that while I didn't save money on a pro, I got the best pro for the lowest price after 3 hours of internet searches. Am I lying to myself? yes.
