Casting calls are put out that way so that the actors who apply for the roles don't go in with a preconceived notion on who the character is supposed to be if the character is an established property.
Think about it: You're going to audition for the role of Broderick a lot differently than for the role of Black Bolt, a character who doesn't speak because his voice is so powerful it can kill everyone around him.

They haven't released the names of the characters. Those are just cover names. I'm sure they will be Blackagar Boltagon and company
