Said Bastrop's All-State wide receiver Rueben Randle, a 6-foot-3, 200-pound playmaker who is one of Louisiana's elite prospects, if not the top player, for next season: "They're definitely starting to get my attention now. I think (the BCS) enhances them a lot. They're on top now. They're attracting a lot of attention around here, and I'm sure they're attracting a lot of national attention now. I follow them. I'm a fan. I just like how they play and how they step up in clutch moments."

Where's this from? Not questioning you, but his brother is always on the Rivals national board talking about sites twisting his words.

Darrell Scott's coach, for those interested:

quote:

"I don't think it starts just with this year," St. Bonaventure Coach Todd Therrien said. "I think you've got to go back the last three years or so. Just seeing them on TV the past three years has been a big deal for the people out here, seeing them in bowl games. LSU has fun playing football. You see them, they're doing their whooping and hollering. LSU has fun. I think that's going to help them."

Said Therrien: "LSU really came to the forefront out here when the (USC) Trojans weren't allowed to play in that championship game (LSU versus Oklahoma in the 2003 BCS championship game at the Superdome). That's one we'd all have liked to see. I think that would have been a great one, one for the ages. LSU over the last five years always has been a force in the South recruiting-wise. It's just now that they're able to get out West and steal some kids."

The potential of having Tolliver, Benton, Randle, and Deandre Brown in a four wide is ridiculous. Jarrett Lee is gotta be happy because he could have all kinds of weapons.

Conclusion: This kid is somewhere in the class with Julio Jones and A.J. Green. He is worth the price of admission to go watch play. He is a five-star player right now.

That really doesn't say better but we really need to lock him up. I love his video. Lester what's your screen name on there?
