This 1 channel is going to be awesome lol

Was up for a contract renewal so had them upgrade my boxes, cut my bill and a few other perks ( getting rid of Cox internet for u-verse for same price I'm paying for just direct TV right now )

Anybody have the direct TV 4k box??

I want to jump on the 4 bandwagon, but I enjoy my projector too much. 4K projectors are like 10,000 right now... hell no.

I feel like the channels are upscaled but that could just be my TV since I played with some calibration settings.
.the 4k channel is pretty amazing but the programming leaves a lot to be desired

A 4K display is going to upscale everything to 4K. I agree about the programming. Outside of buying 4K disc I think Amazon has the best 4K content.

Yeah, the 4K channel on DTV is pretty shitty after a month or so. Only so many times you can watch Rocky Mountain Express. I made the mistake of recording almost everything on 104 and it filled up my DVR after about 24 hours.

4K on amazon is great, but nothing can touch the 4K disc experience at the moment.
