UA Game Vs. Army All American Game Comparison

Anyone here have insight as to how the selections are made? Do these kids get BOTH offers and decide which one they will attend?
Both seem to have blue chip players in attendance, so I assume it's not based on rating services. With so much focus on "Swag" it seems as though they would lean to the UA game. And then there's the coaching angle, the UA game features the likes of Deion, Mariucci, Golic, etc; while the Army game is a bunch of high school coaches.

Anyone know why LSU has so many commits or targets in the UA game and almost none in the army game? Just a coincidence this year?

Army All American game was the first game, then UA came along a number of years afterwards.
These days, it seems the UA game is slightly more prestigious (at least perception wise). More of the higher ranked players end up at this game over the Army All American one.

I know this for sure, the Army AA game has 4 times the star power talent across their roster.
Good example: Army has 9 of the top 10 highest rated QB's. Under Armour's had one top 10 QB in Mond who was ranked 7th.
Outside of one or two positions, Army has the bulk of the Top guys at each position.

I know players who have played in both, 2 in the UA game and 1 in the AA game. From my point of view, UA gets pick of the litter. Most kids prefer the UA game, a week in Orlando (trumps SA), All your practiced televised on the worldwide leader, better accommodations, food, swag, you name it.

Army >>> UA game. The UA game has perpetuated some of the bullshite drama associated with commitments.

The Army game gets a lot more of the talent out west. The UA game seems to get a lot more of the south talent. ESPN runs the UA game and doesn't even have any sort of recruiting scout focused on the west coast.
