Thanks. My job does take me to New Orleans often. Any ideas about young families? We want somewhere we have things in common with our neighbors

Natchez trace is nice. Maison du lac is nice.
Sanctuary is nice, but its in the swamp and IMO is just a bad idea waiting to happen.
If you don't have to go across the lake Abita isn't that bad. Real estate over there has skyrocketed and it just keeps going up. Have some friends that live right in Abita and they are selling a house just because its like tripled in price since they bought it. Not really what you are looking for, but its an option.
The village in covington is nice. They are 300-400k.
Are you looking for a garden home type or do you want a big lot?
The village is going to be garden homes. Natchez trace is a mix.
Black river forest has big lots.
